OLEOESTEPA S.A. (ESTEPA) SEVILLA

Physical and Geographical Information The Estepa region is located in the southeast of Seville province, framed in a corner touching Cordoba in the North east, and Malaga in the southeast. It belongs to Central Andalusia, the heart of Andalusia. This fact, alongside with the characteristical geographical characteristics of the region, situated on top of a calcareous massif, at an average height of 400-600 mts above the sea level, determine the great diversity of types of soil found in the region, eventhough predominating those slightly calcareous and those on the sides of the Genil river. In addition, its climatic type, with an average temperature varying from 15ēC to 18ēC and rains ranging from 400 to 600mm per year, makes possible a high production olive groove. The main olive variety is, no doubt, the Hojiblanca Olive.
