Artisanal dry-cured Iberico salchichon, made from the finest cuts of the Iberico pig, an original breed from Spain known as "pata negra." The subtle combination of white and black pepper and nutmeg makes the perfect balance of fresh aromas. A pleasurable taste full of nuances.
The acorns are the characteristic fruit of the holm oaks, the most prevalent trees in the Mediterranean pasture. This fruit is known for its high percentage of unsaturated fatty acids. The fat of the acorn-fed pig has more than 55% oleic acid (monounsaturated). Only olive oil has a higher oleic acid content. This is why the 100% Iberian acorn-fed pig is known as the "olive tree with legs", due to its benefits similar to those provided by olive oil.
