D.O. Manzanilla - Sanlúcar de Barrameda
Grape musts Chamomile impossible, to the limit of biological breeding under the eternal flower veil. Two years of static aging and 9 nurseries. It represents the essence of the albariza, the floors of centenary boots and the care and dedication in a winery of Sanlúcar. The best of the wines of Francisco Yuste in homage to his mother, Doña Caridad Brioso, known in life as Kika.

View: Old gold, clean and shiny.
Nose: I really like this. Very intense flor notes, with rich hints of hay, flax and toasted almonds and hazelnuts. Just a hint of baked apple in the background. Herbal infusion and buttery notes. It’s not very loud but beautifully warm. Light farmy touches too.
Mouth: really fresh, perhaps slightly younger than I expected, but beautifully intense again. There’s flor and brine, bitter almonds and just a hint of citrus acidity. Light yeasty notes. Dried flowers. Light iodine. The maritime notes and bitterness leads to a long, salty finish.
Gastronomy: At a service temperature between 10 and 12 degrees, its ideal harmony is the Shrimp of Sanlúcar and the Iberian ham of acorn. Perfect with seafood, salazones, fish stews, cheeses and sausages. Anytime, anytime.
